Main Building: It houses Principal’s office in the centre adjoined by office and the staff room. Behind Principals room is the School library. Other rooms in the building are used as class rooms.
ScienceBlock/Laboratories: To enhance the learning abilities and skill, the School has independent laboratory system. Five state of the art labs for Physics, Chemistry, Life sciences, Mathematics and Geography give the students extensive practical experience to supplement the theoretical concepts learnt in the class room. The laboratories are up-to-date, equipped with learning kits and the best apparatus for conducting experiments.
Academic Block: Apart from class rooms Computer lab, Art room, Mathematics laboratory and a Multimedia room are there to ensure that students develop their basic and technical skills through the practical demonstration frequently held by the experts of different arena.
Computer Lab: All students from class VI onwards learn computer operation. The Air-conditioned Lab is equipped with latest generation of computers and printers.
Multi-Media Room: Multi-Media room is a big Air Conditioned Hall with a seating capacity of 120 students. This is equipped with a big Computer screen, T.V, DVD Player, Projector etc. to facilitate teaching utilizing the modern technology.
Library: The school has well equipped library with a large stock of good books including Encyclopedia, Fiction, Reference books and some rare books. A large number of magazines and journals are also available.
The librarian is helped by a library committee headed by VP/HM and concerned teachers of different subjects. The library committee meets at regular intervals to select and recommend books, to visit book fair and to acquire suitable books for the students.
Sports Facilities: The school is fully committed to expand the sports facilities under special guidance of trained physical education teacher. Keeping this view, the school has modified its Badminton Court, Volley Ball Court, Basket Ball Court and indoor games room to National level. Our students are enjoying the newly developed sports facilities. Also Indoor Games room is properly furnished and equipped to maintain the standard of national level.
Assembly Ground: We have an assembly ground with a proper stage furnished and equipped with latest technology to address the gathering of students and teachers in the morning session.
Refereshment Corner: ASVJ has a canteen which serves students as well as staff. We always discourage students to eat junk foods. Students are motivated to bring fruits and healthy snacks from home.
Pure and safe drinking water is provided through water coolers fitted with water purifier systems. The whole area has several big trees in the compound with greenery in abundance
The school offers a very conducive environment for studies.
